Framing and sheathing are pretty much complete. With the roof on, you can see the balcony area better.

The living room. Ah, big windows...

The dining room. The left area in the foreground is a niche, and the left wall of the dining room that is out of sight is a window looking onto the front porch.

Looking from the dining room into the kitchen and, beyond that, the garage.

Another view of the garage, this time from the family room (I promise, they're going to finish that wall).

The family room, with all its natural light. Outside, you can see the snow, the alley, and beyond all that the beautiful open space we get to frolic in.

Jason looks cute in his hard hat, no? Also, we have stairs.

Looking from the stairs to part of the family room and the kitchen.

Someday, there will be a balcony out here. For now, we have a big door-sized hole and some wood oddly nailed to the roof struts.

The guest bathroom upstairs. This is where the Jack-and-Jill sinks will be. Out of sight to the right is a door to the shower/tub and toilet area.

The guest bedroom, which will look out onto the balcony.

The third bedroom, which I get to use as an office/studio until the time comes that we need the room for little people and I get kicked out to the basement.

Where our delightfully large front porch will be. It's about five feet deep and goes all the way to the edge of the house.

The master bathroom. Closets are on the left (mine) and the right (his) as you walk in. Past that is the water closet on the left and the shower and tub on the right. Straight back against the long wall are the double sinks.

The still-being-worked-on master bedroom.

Looking down the stairs at my handsome husband.

Framing in the basement is in place and the stairs will go in shortly.
